Manfred Alfonso Dasenbrock

Manfred Alfonso Dasenbrock represents the Brazilian credit union movement as a delegate from Confederação Interestadual das Cooperativas Ligadas ao Sicredi (Sicredi).

Dasenbrock holds a master's degree in business administration and has been active in Brazil's credit union movement since 1978. Since March 2009, he has served as president of SICREDI Participações S.A. (SICREDI Holding) and as chairman of SICREDI's board of directors. He is also vice coordinator of the Specialized Council of Credit and acts as a counselor with the National Council of Credit Co-operatives Audits.

Dasenbrock began his credit union career as executive director of Agro Industrial Co-operative in Paraná, Brazil, a position he held until 1994. He then served as president of SICREDI Cataratas do Iguaçu Credit Co-operative until 2007. Since 2006, Dasenbrock has served as president of Central SICREDI PR/SC and vice president of Paraná Co-operatives Union Organization.

Dasenbrock joined the boards of the World Council and the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions in 2009.
